Storybook Park

Storybook Park, in Decatur, is a great outdoor space that is used for Library Programs. We hold our Summer Concert Series and Tai Chi in the Park there.

Gazebo Rental

The Gazebo may be reserved with a deposit of $250, and a rental fee of $100 for a maximum of three hours. A separate rental agreement form is required. See staff for details.


Lennox Legacy Rescue Adoption Event

Meet & greet currently adoptable animals, learn how to apply to adopt and/or foster, learn about the importance of rescuing animals and the work that Lennox Legacy Rescue volunteers do, and learn how to volunteer or donate to their cause!

The Grinch in Storybook Park

The Grinch will make an appearance in Storybook Park on November 25 at 4:30 during the kick-off to the local tree lighting festivities. All are invited to meet the Grinch, hear a favorite children's story by Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and to join in some caroling. Festivities then move to the Courthouse Square for the Lighting of the Trees. Create a family and friend tradition in downtown Decatur on Sunday, November 25. This community event is organized by Cathee Graves and Louise Ray.
